Funtavia reveals an epic 2018 line-up

Funtavia has shared its much anticipated 2018 program, and will once again be rolling out the awesome Fringe World Festival vibes in Geraldton on the 8th , 9th and 10th of February.

Tickets went on sale last week as Funtavia launched their 2018 program as part of the City of Greater Geraldton Christmas on the Terrace festivities.

The festival aims to ship in another sensational lineup, with a variety of new and classic showcases set to wow festival patrons in 2018. You can expect more than 15 hit performances over the three-nights, as well as a few other pop up surprises!

The line-up promotes big hitter Fringe acts like the United States Amy Abler’s Pianodivalicious, the United Kindom’s John Robertson’s The Dark Room, Ireland’s Mary Bourke’s Can I make you Irish and Australian favourite Triple J’s Ciaran Lyons 21.

“This is our most festive program yet and we’re really excited to once again be bringing the performance quality of Fringe World to Funtavia next year,” Funtavia Creative Producer Julian Canny said.

“We’re inviting absolutely everyone to come to Geraldton over the weekend to make the most of the annual festival. From local artists to Australian and international perforFumers, our 2018 program is simply spectacular,” said Julian.

Funtavia also offers an incredible opportunity for local artists and producers to perform alongside world renowned Fringe World artist and become involved with the international arts sector.

Locally produced shows starring in the 2018 program are Rosie Sitorus and Kellee Albergs sell out show Fat Girls in Bike Shorts , the family friendly show Comedy Allsorts, Leonie Clarkes outrageous Gran in a Van and the all new What my Mother Told Me cabaret comedy spectacular.

“We are extremely proud that we are able to continue delivering something that is really unique to the region and invests directly into our local performers, “ Funtavia Event Producer Jodi Reilly said.

“The festival brings so much laughter to the community.

“Forget the boring and normal, because Funtavia is coming and it’s time to get excited!” said Jodi.

Funtavia is part of Western Australia’s Fringe World Festival, the third largest Fringe Festival in the world.
